Cybersecurity Content Engineer (Offensive)

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Content Engineer Intern with a focus on offensive security to join our content team. In this role, you will work closely with the team to create high-quality learning content, hands-on challenges, and interactive labs that help users develop real-world offensive cybersecurity skills.

What you'll do

  • Research and develop learning content around offensive cybersecurity topics such as web exploitation, binary exploitation, reverse engineering, cryptography, and penetration testing
  • Design and build hands-on challenges and labs that simulate real-world offensive scenarios
  • Write clear, structured walkthroughs, hints, and documentation for challenges
  • Collaborate with the content team to maintain content quality and consistency across the platform
  • Test and validate challenges to ensure they are accurate, solvable, and educational
  • Stay current with offensive security trends, tools, and techniques to keep content relevant

What we're looking for

  • Foundational knowledge of offensive cybersecurity concepts (web security, networking, operating systems, common vulnerabilities)
  • Familiarity with common offensive tools and technologies (Burp Suite, Nmap, Metasploit, Ghidra, etc.)
  • Ability to write clear and concise technical content
  • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in the cybersecurity field
  • Good communication and collaboration skills

Nice to have

  • Experience with CTF competitions, especially red team / offensive challenges
  • Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerability classes
  • Experience with scripting (Python, Bash) for exploit development or automation
  • Any cybersecurity certifications or coursework (e.g., eJPT, OSCP, CompTIA PenTest+)
  • Prior experience creating educational or technical content
